Dutch canopies are a useful alternative to awnings where there is a need, but not enough space, to fit a traditional patio awning. One advantage of a canopy is that it will provide shade to windows without cutting out the view. For example, many people choose Appeal canopies for their kitchen windows so that they can stand at the sink washing up without the sun in their eyes!
Canopies and awnings from Appeal are an elegant way of providing maximum shade, and are available in an extensive range of colours to suit all tastes. External components, crafted from stainless steel and powder-coated aluminium to protect against rust, are available in white or brown to co-ordinate with the exterior of your home. As with all Appeal Awnings, the canopy fabric is manufactured from solution-dyed acrylic and is resistant to fading, rot and mildew. Should you wish to clean your canopy or awning, this can be done by simply hosing it down.
In addition, canopies and awnings from Appeal will protect your family and furnishings from the potentially damaging effects of UV rays. Because all of Appeal's products are manufactured using UV-rated fabrics, the exposure time of human skin to sunlight is increased in accordance with UV standard 801.
